Intent
Our policy is to create an overall sense of direction and set the principles of action for our organisation that will facilitate the setting of objectives at relevant functions within the organisation which are measurable and consistent.
It is the policy of Blackburns Metals Limited to effectively and efficiently establish, maintain and continually improve a Management System which meets the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001: 2000, our customers expectations and business requirements in relation to its stockholding and fabrication/manufacturing activities which are planned and developed in conjunction with all Management functions.
This Policy sets out the means of providing for its customers products which are fit for their intended purpose and which comply with the customer requirements, technical specifications, and the requirements of all applicable regulatory bodies.
Not only is this policy sound commercial practice, it is also a positive attempt to minimise the effect of product liability legislation by recognising the need to control the organisation's processes and activities at all stages.
The Company shall ensure that this Policy is understood, implemented and maintained at all levels in the organisation through communication, co - operation and involvement of all employees.
The responsibility for facilitating these requirements through our management system is given to the Management Representative who will report directly to myself.
