British Timken Community Sculpture
Christine Wilson and Adam Willden from Blackburns Bedford worked with artist Tim Ward at Circling the Square Ltd to bring this sculpture to life, providing the Steel Color T-Steel (PVD range) 316 Verde Super Mirror material, back in December for the leaves on the sculpture.

Artist: Tim Ward - Installed April 2017
Tim Ward from Circling the Square Ltd said “…it shows a combination of sculpture, granite seating area with access path, information panels and now the planting. We delivered the whole scheme that celebrates local communities’ connection with British Timken in Duston, Northampton. Their logo colours are orange and black hence the planting colour scheme – the Heuchera ‘Marmalade’ in particular should look splendid once established. The Parish Council is developing a group of volunteers to maintain the planting bed in the future.”
The sculpture designed was installed at the end of 2016, and finished April 2017 with the return visit to do the spring planting. The Tulips and Alliums were planted in the autumn and are blooming now.
Everyone loved the apparent undulation which is caused by the reflection of clouds and trees in the green leaves.
